Shooting video is really hard, I’m rediscovering, and I don’t find myself natural in front of a camera. But, as I explain on the video, I dug out this somewhat dilapidated chalk drawing and it seems so appropriate. So currently, the sitting room of our house is a temporary studio, while I answer the fun and fascinating questions I received about Captain Garrison!

- Saturday, November 2. I plan to be in Wisconsin at the Christian Womanhood Seminar “Fullness of Joy” on Saturday, in Thorp, WI. (Do you want to know the really fun details? My sister has a ticket from Virginia to Chicago, and I’m planning to pick her up and take her along to rendezvous with our two Wisconsin sisters and family. Not to mention that my dear friend Pam is speaking at the same seminar, so it’s sure to be both inspirational and fun.) I understand Captain Garrison will be for sale at the seminar by a local bookstore. I’ll be happy to sign your copy if you wish, or answer any questions you might have about the book.
- Saturday November 9–This is for you if you live in northern Indiana or southern Michigan and missed the Nappanee book signing. Come to the Baker’s Nook, Jackson Street, Elkhart on November 9 from 9-11. The Baker’s Nook is where I often retreat to write and drink coffee, so it’s a great spot to offer Captain Garrison. If you really want a great morning, plan on staying for one of the amazing Baker’s Nook breakfast burritos or breakfast haystacks or cinnamon rolls. Or you could have two eggs fried hard with honey oat toast and bacon, as I’ve been known to order. First 10 book customers get a free coffee, or a free pastry, your choice! And if you get a pastry, allow me to recommend the strawberry cream cheese pastry, warmed up. Mmmmm……

Before reading anything, I was so amazed with the setting for your video. How incredibly sweet that you are still able to bring a part of your Mom into the great accomplishments of your life.
