“I’m depressed,” he said. “Because I don’t get to see my son.” Well, I would be depressed too in his situation, I suppose. Both Marnell and I felt confident, though, that his problems would not go away until he gets clean from the drugs. We were willing to put a great deal of energy into helping him get into the rehab.
