Terry, Gary, and Larry can’t wait for their camping trip on the island

Larry cannot ignore him. Does he really mean to harm them?
Surely the frightening noises outside the tent in the dead of night
are not part of his plan?

This book takes you along with the three brothers in their camping adventure. I read it as a free e-book from the author, and enjoyed it immensely… From thinking they’ll be eaten by bears, to a mysterious hooded person, it’s a book filled with mystery and has lessons of peace sprinkled throughout! The pictures contribute to the 1980s Era, with black and white pictures. I highly recommend it!

As a book lover, I love most any well written book and especially those with a suspenseful plot. As a mom of young, avid book readers I highly value books with character truths enticingly tucked in amongst the adventure. The Brady Street Boys series has thrilled me by fitting both descriptions well. Book 3 in the series has not disappointed me and, in fact, it is probably my favorite book yet!

Terry, Gary and Larry are into week three of summer and their Fruit of the Spirit project. The lessons that come with pursuing peace with the spiteful boy in the black hoody are fast paced and attention holding. The adventures experienced in camping out are suspense filled and hilarious. And the characters and their emotions very easy to connect with.

Overall, I am delighted with an action packed, riveting, suspenseful book of good wholesome fun that simultaneously teaches valuable Christian character principles. I can’t wait to give this to my boys and talk about it with them for days like has happened with the first two books in this series!

*I received a free ebook from the author in exchange for my honest review.

Katrina has done it again! This third book of the Brady Street Boys does not disappoint. One of my favorite parts of the book is all the banter among the boys – cheerful and otherwise – that’s so realistic you just want to laugh. I was also delighted to realize how this book is so interconnected with the previous books, making this series one of those that you’ll want to read in order. Which means I’m about to go order Book #2 to fill in the missing pieces of the story…

*I received a free e-book for review purposes.

Another week with the Brady Street Boys! I love the way Gary, Larry and Terry enjoy nature, their parents and neighborhood. An innocent weekend camping trip turns into an adrenalin-laced adventure for the boys.

This wholesome mystery story comes just in time for spring picnics and camp-outs. Even though they find answers to a few of the questions that trouble them, there is still a bigger mystery waiting for an answer.

I wish this series had been available when I was a girl growing up near the Mississippi River in the 80’s. I read lots of mystery and adventure stories but this series is better than any of those.

As a grandmother who loves to read and wants to pass on my love of reading to my grandchildren, I’m always looking for fun, yet wholesome books. I can’t usually recommend books published recently, but this one is different. It’s uplifting but not preachy. I enjoyed reading it myself. My 9-year-old granddaughter has the other two in the series and has read both of them more than once.

I received a free e-book from the author, but the opinions are my own.

This is the third book of The Brady Street Boys. I read it as a free e-book from Katrina, the author. Terry, Gary, and Larry go camping on an island down the river. The mysterious light, the strange noises, and the wandering skunk held me in suspense very much. I loved this book as well as the other books in this series.

  8. Ashton Horst

I enjoyed following the boys in their adventure while camping on a close neighbor’s island. Strange noises in the night and a strange boy who always has his hood up add to the suspense of the story. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book!

I finished the first two books in the series and just loved them. Then there was a chance to get a free e-book in exchange for my honest review, and I was sold.
Noise in the Night is just delightful! I just had to find out what happened next, and finished the book in a day. 🙂 I like how realistic the books are. Add in the humor and adventure and I want to go live in Stratford.

This 3rd book in the Brady Street Boys series is full of fun, camping escapades, good family times, plenty of suspense, and a needy (mysterious) boy. And along the way, the boys have to make decisions that are so native to growing up years that every child will identify (and hopefully make just as wise decisions as these boys did). So reminiscent of life in those good old days of childhood. I received a free e-book for reviewing purposes, but I can’t wait till I can buy these books for my nephew’s birthdays.

We really enjoy the Brady Street Boys series. I have had a challenge finding children’s books that portray solid Christian values without being preachy, and that are adventurous enough to capture the attention of my sons. This series does that. The boys in this story are authentic. They make mistakes, just like my own sons, and they are willing to admit their mistakes and learn from them. They jump to conclusions just like I see my sons doing—and sometimes they end up with funny consequences. The boys’ parents allow them freedom to be children and to explore their world, but keep tabs on what they are doing and are there to offer guidance and correction when needed. My sons really like this series, as do I, and we’re already looking forward to the third book!
I received a review copy of this book from the author, and these are my honest thoughts about it.

I absolutely loved this book! It’s about three boys taking a camping trip and finding a skunk. They also meet a mean boy who at the end turns out to be sorta nice. I definitely would recommend this book! I did receive an ebook copy of this book to read.

  14. Mary Ann Martin

We thoroughly enjoyed this 3rd book in the Brady Street series! Everyone from the 5 year old to the 13 year old is eagerly anticipating the next one. As a mother, I especially appreciate the biblical principles highlighted in each story.
We received a free ebook in exchange for our honest review.

  15. Deb

My 9 and 13 year old boys say this is a great adventure story! They eagerly wait for the next book in the series. As a mom I love these books that have character building truths woven into the suspenseful plot.
*I received a free ebook in exchange for my review, but will definitely buy a hard copy as well.

A delightfully engaging story with a lesson on living peacefully with those around us. Join the Brady Street Boys on their camping trip where they lose most of a night of sleep worrying about the animals prowling around their tent. Who cut the pasture fence and what was the purpose behind it? Why was the boy in the black hoodie stalking them and trying to get them into trouble? As a way to make peace, Terry invites Dean to join the family for supper at the pizzeria in town and everyone enjoys getting to know the mysterious boy a bit better. Can he help them solve the mystery of the missing doctor?

*I was given a digital copy of the book to review.

  17. Jamin

A good read. Especially the story about the swing over the river. Captivating! One of my favorite books! We received free e-book from the author.

  18. Dawn Harshbarger

All the fun of camping in this book, campfires, late night conversations, yummy food, a mysterious “enemy”, problem solving. Join Terry, Gary and Larry in another adventure packed week of this memorable summer. The boys are trying to find a peaceful way to be friends with the enemy who lurks close by.
I received an e- book from the author in exchange for a review of this book.
